本标准定义了现代科学和技术领域中广泛使用的金属腐蚀的一般术语、腐蚀类型术语、腐蚀保护术语、腐蚀试验术语和电化学术语。此外，某些定义还有简洁的注释。在本标准中，名词“金属”也包括合金及其他金属材料。本标准适用于金属腐蚀领域中的科研、生产、教学、出版、编制标准及国内外科技交流。
Scope
This standard specifies the general terminology of metal corrosion, corrosion type terminology, corrosion protection terminology, corrosion test terminology and electrochemical terminology widely used in modern science and technology. In addition, some definitions have concise comments. In this standard, the term "metal" also includes alloys and other metallic materials. This standard is applicable to the research, production, teaching, publication, compilation of standards and scientific and technological exchanges at home and abroad in the field of metal corrosion.
