本标准修改采用国际标准ISO9416:1998《纸张光散射和光吸收系数的测定(KubelkaMunk)》。本标准规定了基于KubelkaMunk理论的纸、纸板和纸浆的光散射和光吸收的测定方法。
本标准适用于白色和近白色的纸浆及不含荧光物质的未涂布纸和纸板，其不透明度应小于95%。

Scope

This standard specifies methods for the determination of light scattering and light absorption of paper, board and pulp based on the Kubelka-Munk theory. This standard applies to white and near-white pulp and uncoated paper and paperboard without fluorescent substances, and its opacity should be less than 95%.
