Scope

This standard specifies the test methods for the maximum force, tensile strength, total elongation at break and other mechanical properties of non-ferrous metal filaments. This standard applies to the determination of the normal temperature tensile properties of non-ferrous metal wires with a nominal diameter not greater than 0.25mm.
