Key technical requirements

1. Structural characteristics

DC circuit breaker must meet the following requirements:

  • Inter-pole linkage mechanism to ensure synchronous breaking (8.1.2)
  • Minimum electrical clearance 4.0mm (pollution level 2 environment)
  • Clearly mark the time constant T15 mark (6.k clause)

2. Key test items

Typical test case: The rated short-circuit capacity test needs to verify the breaking capacity of the 4ms/15ms time constant at 105% of the rated voltage (9.12.11.4.3)
