As the authoritative standard in the field of nickel-plated round copper wire, GB/T11019-2021 systematically specifies the technical requirements for nickel-plated round copper wire. Compared with the 2009 version, the new version of the standard has significant updates in terms of grade classification, performance indicators, etc.:

  • Added a 5-level nickel content system: Grade 2 (≥2%), Grade 4 (≥4%), Grade 7 (≥7%), Grade 10 (≥10%), Grade 27 (≥27%)
  • Association between coating thickness and diameter: Establish a three-dimensional correspondence between nominal diameter-grade-minimum thickness
  • Resistivity grading control: The resistivity of grade 27 products is relaxed to 0.024284Ω·mm²/m
