Scope
This standard specifies the production and control procedures of steel reference test blocks for ultrasonic testing. The test blocks provide plane acoustic wave incidence, are cylindrical in shape, and contain flat-bottomed holes (FBH), and can be used for the performance of ultrasonic testing instruments and probes, as well as alloy products.
