Scope

This standard specifies the cross-sectional dimensions, reference length and its limit deviation, exposed height, center distance variation, marking and dimension measurement methods of common V-belts and narrow V-belts (hereinafter referred to as V-belts). This standard applies to ordinary V-belts and narrow V-belts for general mechanical transmission.
