《GB/T 11831-2002水文测报装置遥测雨量计》由TC199（全国水文标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为水利部。
本标准规定了水文测报装置中遥测雨量计的产品分类、基本性能、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输、贮存。本标准适用于水文自动测报系统中测量降雨量及降雨强度的遥测雨量计。

Scope

This standard specifies the product classification, basic performance, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of telemetry rain gauges in hydrological forecasting devices. This standard is applicable to telemetry rain gauges (hereinafter referred to as "rain gauges") used to measure rainfall and rainfall intensity in hydrological automatic forecasting systems (hereinafter referred to as "systems").
