Introduction
Analysis of the core content of the standard
| Technical dimension | 250A specification | 1000A specification |
|---|---|---|
| Rated voltage | 1000V/1500V DC | |
| Locking method | Spiral groove locking | Roller push-pull type |
| Insertion force limit | ≤140N | ≤240N |
| Protection level | IP44 (default) | |
Key technical requirements
1. Safety interlock mechanism
The standard stipulates that the contact coupling sequence must follow: the cascade mechanism of protective grounding → charging confirmation → power supply → control signal, and electrical interlocking is achieved through the ES1/ES2 double contacts to ensure the safety of live plugging and unplugging.
2. Structural characteristics
- 250A connector adopts 65.5mm inner diameter design, and the positioning keyway tolerance is controlled at ±0.5mm
- 1000A connector adopts tongue-shaped protrusion structure, and the contact surface angle is 19°~49° to optimize current distribution
Test verification system
| Test items | Method basis | Qualification standard |
|---|---|---|
| Temperature rise test | Chapter 22 | Contact temperature rise ≤50K |
| Mechanical life | Chapter 21 | No functional degradation after 5000 plug-in and unplug cycles |
| Short-circuit tolerance | Chapter 29 | Remaining intact under 16kA/1s impact |
Recommendations for standard implementation
Port shore power transformation case
A container terminal uses a 1000A red positive connector with a standard loose-leaf IV design to achieve:
- Charging time is shortened by 40%
- Temperature rise monitoring system error ≤±3℃
- Passed the anti-pullout test under typhoon conditions (300N axial force)
Technology evolution analysis
Compared with GB/T 11918.5-2020 AC standard, this version has the following major breakthroughs:
- Added temperature monitoring function (Chapter 32)
- Optimized DC arc protection design
- Clarified environmental adaptability requirements for pollution level 3
