Scope

This International Standard specifies the procedures to be followed by registries in developing, maintaining and publishing registries of escape sequences and the characters or character sets identified by them. This standard applies to the registration of the escape sequences specified in GB2311, but does not include the partial escape sequences ESC Fs and ESC Fp and part as an escape sequence identifying a private graphic character set.
