Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, as well as marking, packaging and storage requirements for general pressure gauges. This standard applies to mechanical pointer pressure gauges, vacuum gauges and pressure vacuum gauges (hereinafter referred to as instruments) with spring tubes (C-shaped tubes, disc spring tubes, spiral tubes) as elastic elements. Note: This standard includes stainless steel pressure gauges and pressure gauges with special-shaped shells.
