Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging and storage requirements of general pressure gauges. This standard is applicable to mechanical pointer pressure gauges, vacuum gauges and pressure vacuum gauges such as spring tubes (C-shaped tubes, coiled yellow tubes, and spiral tubes). This standard includes stainless steel pressure gauges and pressure gauges with special-shaped casings.
