Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, safety, marking and testing requirements for pressure gauges used in welding, cutting and similar processes. This standard applies to spring tube pressure gauges for welding, cutting and related processes of compressed gas, liquefied acetylene and liquefied gas with a pressure up to 30 MPa. This standard does not apply to pressure gauges used by acetylene producers in the acetylene production process.
