Introduction
Interpretation of GB/T 12454—2017, National Standard of the People's Republic of China
This standard was issued in 2017, replacing the old standard GB/T 12454—2008 in 2008. The new standard adds control items, light environment quality classification methods and glass curtain wall reflected light calculation parameters, and pays more attention to the comfort and functionality of the light environment.
Basic requirements for light environment evaluation
According to GB/T 12454—2017, the light environment should be evaluated using the Light Environment Index (LEI). The evaluation indicators are divided into control items and scoring items:
- Control items:The evaluation result is satisfied or not satisfied.
- Scoring items:The score range is 1-5 points, and the weight is determined according to the degree of its impact on the light environment quality.
Evaluation indicators and methods
| Indicator category | Indoor light environment requirements | Outdoor light environment requirements |
|---|---|---|
| Control items |
|
|
| Rating items | Includes indicators such as color temperature, color rendering, and glare, and the weights are determined by expert voting. | Includes indicators such as sense of security and light pollution prevention, focusing on visual comfort and functionality. |
Light environment quality classification
Light environment quality is divided into three levels: one star, two stars, and three stars. According to Appendix A, the correspondence between the light environment index (S) and the quality level is as follows:
| Light environment index S | One star | Two stars | Three stars |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0 ≤ S ≤ 60 | One star | - | - |
| 60 < S ≤ 80 | - | Two stars | - |
| 80 < S ≤ 100 | - | - | Three stars |
Implementation suggestions
In order to ensure the effectiveness of the light environment evaluation, it is recommended:
- Select a professional team:The expert evaluation group should be composed of at least 5 professionals.
- User participation:The user evaluation group should randomly select 10 people with normal vision.
- Data collection:The light environment test group must have national authorization qualifications to ensure the accuracy of the test results.
- Weight calculation:The weights of the scoring items should be determined based on expert voting and the actual degree of impact, such as illumination level (weight 0.22) and glare (weight 0.18).
