Scope

This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, inspection methods and inspection rules of the multifunctional iron and steel surface treatment liquid (hereinafter referred to as the treatment liquid) composed of phosphoric acid and phosphate as the main components and other additives. This standard is applicable to steel workpieces whose surface is comprehensively treated before painting and leaves the factory with working fluid; it is also applicable to products with the same characteristics, whose solid and liquid components are packaged separately or in a concentrated state when leaving the factory, and then formulated into working fluid during application.
