《GB/T 12818-2004铁道客车组装后的检查与试验规则》由347（国家铁路局）归口，主管部门为国家铁路局。
本标准规定了新造铁道客车组装后的检查与试验规则、每类检查所包含的检验项目、检验方法与检验结果的判定。本标准适用于构造速度不大于200km/h的标准轨距一般用途全金属车体的座车、卧车、行李车、邮政车、餐车、发电车和合造车等。公务车、维修车、试验车等特种用途车及非标准轨距的全金属车体客车可参照执行。

Scope

This standard specifies the inspection and test rules for newly assembled railway passenger cars, the inspection items included in each type of inspection, the inspection methods and the judgment of inspection results. This standard is applicable to passenger cars, sleeping cars, luggage cars, postal cars, dining cars, power generation cars and joint-built cars with standard gauge general-purpose all-metal bodies whose construction speed is not greater than 200km/h. Special-purpose vehicles such as official vehicles, maintenance vehicles, and test vehicles, as well as all-metal busses with non-standard gauges, can be implemented by reference.
