《GB/T 12839-1997轮胎气门嘴 术语及其定义》由TC19（全国轮胎轮辋标准化技术委员会）归口，TC19SC4（全国轮胎轮辋标准化技术委员会气门嘴分会）执行，主管部门为中国石油和化学工业联合会。
本标准规定了轮胎气门嘴通常使用的术语及其定义(或说明)。本标准适用于轿车、载重汽车(包括客车、挂车及无轨电车)、工业车辆、工程机械、拖拉机与农业、林业机械、摩托车、畜力车及力车充气轮胎气门嘴。航空轮胎气门嘴亦应参照使用。

Scope

This standard specifies the commonly used terms and definitions (or descriptions) of tire valves. This standard applies to cars, trucks (including passenger cars, trailers and trolleybuses), industrial vehicles, engineering machinery, tractors and agricultural, forestry machinery, motorcycles, animal-drawn vehicles and car pneumatic tire valves. Aviation tire valves should also be used as a reference.
