Scope
This standard specifies the types, basic dimension parameters and dimensions, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules, as well as marking and packaging requirements of various types of AC elevator motors. This standard is applicable to AC elevator motors (hereinafter referred to as motors) used in various types of passenger elevators, passenger and freight elevators, hospital bed elevators and cargo elevators.
