Scope

This part of GB/T 13277 specifies the gas chromatography and chemical indicator tube methods for determining the oil vapor content in compressed air. It also specifies requirements for oil vapor sampling, measurement, assessment, uncertainty, and test reporting. This part applies to the measurement of oil vapor (hydrocarbons with 6 or more carbon atoms) in compressed air. Note: Light hydrocarbons with 5 or fewer carbon atoms are measured as gaseous pollutants in accordance with ISO 8573-6.
