本标准规定了钢铁上的镉电镀层的技术要求和检验方法。本标准适用于在各种使用条件下防止钢铁腐蚀的镉电镀层。本标准不适用于:a.未加工成形的板材、带材或线材的镉电镀层;b.可能同食物或饮料接触的物件的镀层(镉的毒性对人体会造成严重危害)。
Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements and inspection methods for cadmium plating on steel. This standard applies to cadmium electroplated coatings for the protection of steel against corrosion under various conditions of use. This standard does not apply to: a. Cadmium electroplating of unprocessed plates, strips or wires; b. Plating of objects that may come into contact with food or beverages (cadmium toxicity will cause serious harm to the human body).
