Scope
This standard specifies the general technical requirements, quality assurance regulations, and requirements for packaging, storage and transportation of coaxial switches (hereinafter referred to as switches). This standard applies to manual and electric control (remote control) coaxial switches used with radio frequency coaxial transmission lines. These switches are used for antenna switching, receiver or component protection, load circuit selection, and other signal control.
