《GB/T 13936-2014硫化橡胶 与金属粘接拉伸剪切强度测定方法》由TC35(全国橡胶与橡胶制品标准化技术委员会)归口,TC35SC2(全国橡胶与橡胶制品标准化技术委员会通用试验方法分会)执行,主管部门为中国石油和化学工业联合会。

Introduction

Interpretation of the National Standard of the People's Republic of China GB/T 13936-2014

Standard Version Main Changes New Content
GB/T 13936-2014 Replaces GB/T 13936-1992 - Added Foreword- Added Warnings- Updated Normative References (GB/T 17200) - Improved the force measurement accuracy requirements of tensile testing machines- Adjusted the recommended metal material grades- Clarified the test environment humidity requirements

Standard Development Background and Technology Evolution Analysis

Background: The bonding performance of vulcanized rubber to metal is an important indicator of the quality of rubber products. With the development of the rubber industry, higher requirements have been put forward for the determination method of bonding strength.

Technical evolution: From the 1992 edition to the 2014 edition, the main improvements include:

  • Added the preface and warning sections to enhance the standardization and safety;
  • Updated the referenced documents to ensure that the technical requirements keep pace with the times;
  • Improved the accuracy of the test equipment to ensure the accuracy of the test results;
  • Adjusted the recommended metal material grades to adapt to industry changes;
  • Clarified the humidity control requirements to reduce the impact of environmental factors on the test.

Comparison and interpretation of standard frameworks

Chapters Contents of the 1992 edition Additions/changes in the 2014 edition
Foreword - None - Added explanation of standard drafting rules
Normative references - Referenced GB/T 2941 - Added GB/T 17200
Test equipment - Lower force measurement accuracy requirements - Increased force measurement accuracy to Level 2, and increased requirements for consistency in loading direction

Implementation suggestions and precautions

1. Equipment selection: Use a tensile testing machine that complies with GB/T 17200 to ensure that the force measurement accuracy meets the requirements. For high-precision testing, it is recommended to use equipment with an error of less than or equal to ±1%.

2. Material preparation: Select appropriate metal sheets and rubber sheets according to the recommended materials, and strictly prepare the specimens according to the standard size. Pay attention to avoid surface contamination and bonding surface misalignment exceeding 0.2mm.

3. Environmental control: The test should be carried out in an environment with a temperature of (23±2)℃ and a humidity of (50±5)%. For highly sensitive adhesives, special attention should be paid to humidity control.

4. Data recording: Record the maximum load, failure type, and use three significant digits to express the results when calculating the tensile shear strength. At the same time, the influence of the failure type on the bonding performance needs to be analyzed.

Explanation of professional terms

  • Tensile testing machine: Professional equipment used to measure the load and failure point of materials when stretched.
  • Bond surface misalignment: Refers to the surface position deviation when the metal sheet and the rubber sheet are bonded, which must be controlled within 0.2mm to ensure the accuracy of the test.
  • Cohesive failure: The type of failure caused by the internal fracture of the adhesive, reflecting the insufficient performance of the adhesive.
