Scope

This standard specifies a total of 1016 terms in terms of basic optics terms, geometric optics, physical optics, image quality assessment, optical components and processes, names of optical instruments, optical measurement and product technical requirements. This standard is applicable to the formulation of optical instrument standards, the compilation of technical documents, the compilation of teaching materials and books, and the translation of documents, etc. Note: The words in square brackets () in this standard are optional words, and the words in parentheses () are interchangeable words except for explanation.
