《GB/T 1423-1996贵金属及其合金密度的测试方法》由TC243（全国有色金属标准化技术委员会）归口，TC243SC5（全国有色金属标准化技术委员会贵金属分会）执行，主管部门为中国有色金属工业协会。
本标准规定了贵金属及其合金材料室温密度的测定方法。本标准适用于贵金属及其合金材料室温密度的测定。其他金属及合金材料以及部分非金属固体材料亦可参照使用。本标准不适用于粉末材料及多孔材料密度的测定。

Scope

This standard specifies the method for the determination of the room temperature density of precious metals and their alloys. This standard applies to the determination of the room temperature density of noble metals and their alloys. Other metal and alloy materials and some non-metallic solid materials can also be used by reference. This standard does not apply to the determination of the density of powder materials and porous materials.
