Scope

This standard specifies the test method for defects of synthetic staple fibers. This standard is applicable to the defect determination of synthetic staple fibers such as polyester (polyester), polyamide (nylon), polyacrylonitrile (acrylic), polypropylene (propylene) and polyvinyl formal (vinylon).
