Scope
This part of GB/T 14566 specifies the technical requirements for the structural type, nominal diameter, and design burst pressure range of different materials for flat rupture discs. This section applies to the bursting disc safety devices used in pressure vessels, pressure pipes or other closed pressure-bearing equipment (hereinafter referred to as pressure-bearing equipment) to prevent overpressure or excessive vacuum. This section does not apply to the following bursting discs: — Pressure equipment that may generate a sharp increase in pressure during operation, and the reaction speed reaches detonation. — Bursting disc safety devices with special requirements for national defense and military equipment.
