Scope

1.1 This part of GB/T 14566 stipulates the technical requirements such as the structural type, nominal diameter, and design bursting pressure range of different materials for reverse-arched rupture discs. 1.2 This part applies to the bursting disc safety devices used in pressure vessels, pressure pipes or other closed pressure-bearing equipment (hereinafter referred to as pressure-bearing equipment) to prevent overpressure or excessive vacuum. 1.3 This part does not apply to the following bursting discs: - Pressure equipment that may have a sharp increase in pressure during operation and whose reaction speed reaches detonation; - Bursting disc safety devices with special requirements for national defense and military equipment.
