Scope

This standard specifies the method of marking non-destructive testing information with symbols, and provides detailed information and examples for the composition and annotation of these symbols. This symbology is used to mark the method, frequency, area, and referenced technical conditions, norms or standards used in non-destructive testing. This standard applies to technical drawings and related technical documents. It can also be used as a reference when marking on the inspected workpiece.
