Analysis of the core content of the standard

Main points of version update: This standard replaces GB/T 14808-2001, adds the definition of 24kV voltage level and capacitive switching level, improves the parameter requirements for autocoupler step-down starters, and adds 11 key technical changes such as X-ray emission detection.

Typical application case

Autotransformer step-down starter selection: A cement plant's 24kV/800kW fan uses an AC-3 two-stage starter. It is necessary to verify the temperature rise of the 30s on/30s off medium duty specified in 4.109.2, and ensure that the torque meets the requirements of Table 3 when the starting voltage is 65% of the rated voltage.

Implementation suggestions

  1. SCPD coordination:When selecting a current-limiting fuse according to clause 4.107, it is necessary to verify that the handover current matches the contactor tripping characteristics
  2. Altitude correction:Applications above 1000 meters need to correct insulation parameters according to clause 2.2
  3. Capacitive switching:C2-level contactors are suitable for occasions where capacitor banks need to be frequently switched

Technology evolution analysis

When this standard is connected to IEC 62271-106:2011, the scope of application is adjusted to 3.6kV-24kV/50Hz system, which strengthens the adaptability of domestic equipment to special working conditions. The newly added X-ray detection requirements (5.19) reflect the new detection requirements brought about by the development of vacuum interrupter technology.
