1. Standard background and technological evolution

GB/T 14849 "Chemical analysis methods for industrial silicon" is an important part of the national standard and is divided into 11 parts. Part 8 (GB/T 14849.8-2015) is specifically for the determination of copper content in industrial silicon, using atomic absorption spectrometry as the main technical means. This method has higher sensitivity and accuracy than traditional spectrophotometry.

3. Implementation Suggestions

Instrument selection:Use a flame atomic absorption spectrometer equipped with a copper hollow cathode lamp, and ensure that the wavelength is set at 324.7 nm.

Reagent preparation:Prepare copper standard storage solution and standard solution in strict accordance with standard requirements, and the water used must comply with GB/T 6682.

Sample treatment:Industrial silicon samples must pass through a 0.149 mm standard sieve, and use a magnet to remove iron filings on the surface.
