Scope

This standard specifies the flexural hydraulic impulse test method for steel wire reinforced rubber and plastic hoses and hose assemblies. This standard applies to high-pressure hydraulic hose and hose assemblies that are subjected to impulse pressure in use. This standard gives two flexure methods for hoses and hose assemblies. The actual impulse test pressure is given in ISO 6803.
