《GB/T 14958-1994气体保护焊用钢丝》由TC183（全国钢标准化技术委员会）归口，TC183SC3（全国钢标准化技术委员会盘条及钢丝分会）执行，主管部门为中国钢铁工业协会。
本标准规定了气体保护焊用钢丝的分类、代号、尺寸、外形、重量、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、包装运输贮存标志及质量证明书等。本标准适应于低碳钢、低合金钢和合金钢用气体保护焊冷拉钢丝。

Scope

This standard stipulates the classification, code name, size, shape, weight, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, transportation and storage marks and quality certificates of steel wires for gas shielded welding (welding wires for short). This standard is applicable to low carbon steel, low alloy steel and alloy steel cold drawn steel wire for gas shielded welding (CO2, CO2+O2, CO2+Ar).
