Scope

This part of GB/T 14999 specifies the types and characteristics of common defects and inhomogeneous structures of superalloy longitudinal low-magnification structures, the interception and preparation of samples, inspection and evaluation, result presentation methods, inspection reports, etc. This part is applicable to the inspection of longitudinal microstructure and defects of high-temperature alloy ingots, melt inspection materials, forging (rolling) billets or pieces. Other products can refer to implementation.
