本部分规定了钽铌中碳量和硫量的测定。本部分适用于钽铌碳量和硫量的测定。测定范围：C：0.0006%~0.5%;S: 0.0006%~0.05%。本部分代替ＧＢ／Ｔ１５０７６．１２―１９９４《钽铌化学分析方法　碳量的测定》和ＧＢ／Ｔ１５０７６．８―１９９４钽铌化学分析方法　铌中硫量的测定》。
本部分与ＧＢ／Ｔ１５０７６．１２―１９９４和ＧＢ／Ｔ１５０７６．８―１９９４相比，主要有如下变动：
―――扩大了测定范围：碳的测定范围由０．００１％～０．５％修改为０．０００６％～０．５％；硫的测定范围由０．００５％～０．０５％修改为０．０００６％～０．０５％；
―――改变了测定方法；
―――补充了精密度与质量保证和控制条款；
―――对文本格式进行了重新编辑。
