Introduction
GB/T15166.5-2022 Standard Overview
This standard specifies the technical requirements, type tests and information provided to users for high-voltage fuses used in motor circuits. It is applicable to fuses used for direct-start motors in 3kV and above, 50Hz AC systems.
Background of Standard Formulation
High-voltage AC fuses are widely used in power systems and factories and mines to protect lines and equipment. With the development of power grids and technological advances, the original standard GB/T15166.5-2008 can no longer meet current needs, so the standard has been revised.
Technical requirements
| Technical requirements dimensions | Specific requirements | Scope of application |
|---|---|---|
| Fuse time-current characteristics | For fuses with rated current Ir≤100A, If10/Ir≥3; for fuses with Ir>100A, If10/Ir≥4. | All rated current values |
| K factor determines overload characteristics | Select the K value when the pre-arcing time is 10s. The fuse should withstand repeated overloads under different starting conditions without damage. | Applicable to frequent starting and abnormal operating conditions |
| Withstand requirements | Fuse links should withstand rapid and continuous starting pulses without degradation, and withstand the motor starting current multiple times under normal operating conditions. | Abnormal operating conditions and normal operating conditions |
Standard implementation recommendations
When selecting fuse links, select the appropriate K value based on the starting frequency and operating conditions of the motor, and ensure that it meets the manufacturer's technical specifications. It is recommended to regularly inspect and maintain fuses to ensure their long-term effectiveness and reliability.
