《GB/T 15236-2008职业安全卫生术语》由TC288（全国安全生产标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为应急管理部。
本标准代替GB/T 15236-1994《职业安全卫生术语》。
本标准规定了职业安全卫生基本术语的定义。
本标准适用于职业安全卫生标准、法规、文件和书籍等的编写及职业安全卫生管理工作。
本标准与GB/T 15236-1994相比，主要修订内容如下：
a)参照联合国国际劳工局（International Labor Office,ILO）和国际职业安全卫生情报中心（In-ternational Occupational Safety and health Information Centre）于1993年出版的《Occupa-tional Safety and Health Glossary:Word and expressions used in safety and health at work》,将职业安全卫生术语分为一般术语、事故及其相关主题、测试与评估、应急与防护措施、职业医学与职业病、工作条件与人机工程6个主题；
b)由37个词条扩充到71个；
c)加了规范性引用文件；
d)加了应急救援相关内容。

Scope

This standard specifies the definitions of basic terms of occupational safety and health. This standard is applicable to the preparation of occupational safety and health standards, regulations, documents and books, etc., as well as occupational safety and health management.
