《GB/T 15251-2008橡胶 游离硫的测定》由TC35（全国橡胶与橡胶制品标准化技术委员会）归口，TC35SC2（全国橡胶与橡胶制品标准化技术委员会通用试验方法分会）执行，主管部门为中国石油和化学工业联合会。
本标准根据ＩＳＯ７２６９：１９９５重新起草。本标准代替ＧＢ／Ｔ３５１４―１９９２《硫化橡胶中游离硫含量的测定　亚硫酸钠法》，ＧＢ／Ｔ１５２５１―１９９４《橡胶　游离硫的测定　铜螺旋法》。本标准规定了三种测定硫化橡胶中游离硫的方法，即两种铜螺旋法和一种亚硫酸钠法。 本标准是对ＧＢ／Ｔ３５１４―１９９２和ＧＢ／Ｔ１５２５１―１９９４的整合修订，技术内容与ＧＢ／Ｔ３５１４―１９９２和ＧＢ／Ｔ１５２５１―１９９４相比，主要变化如下：
―――增加了引言；
―――增加了警示语；
―――增加了标准的局限性说明（本版４）；
―――增加了快速抽提法、铜螺旋法Ｂ（本版６）；
―――增加了测定方法所使用的玻璃仪器的规格（ＧＢ／Ｔ３５１４―１９９２的４，ＧＢ／Ｔ１５２５１―１９９４的５；本版５．２，６．２，７．２）；
―――增加了碘标准滴定溶液和硫代硫酸钠标准滴定溶液的配制及标定方法（本版的５．１．７，５．１．８）；
―――修改了胶料的处理方法（ＧＢ／Ｔ３５１４―１９９２ 的５，ＧＢ／Ｔ１５２５１―１９９４ 的６；本版的５．３，６．３，
７．３）；
―――在亚硫酸钠法中：加热时为防止起泡，增加了液体石蜡（本版的７．１．１０，７．３．１）；用硅藻土代替
石棉作为过滤填料（ＧＢ／Ｔ３５１４―１９９２的３．８和５；本版的７．１．９和７．３．３）；
―――修改了试验步骤：用反滴定法代替直接滴定法（ＧＢ／Ｔ３５１４―１９９２的５；本版的７．３．４；
―――增加了试验报告内容要求（本版８）；
―――将试验平行测定的允许偏差改为资料性附录Ｂ（ＧＢ／Ｔ３５１４―１９９２的７；本版的附录Ｂ）；
―――增加了资料性附录，促进剂对试验结果的影响（本版的附录Ａ）。

Scope

This standard specifies three methods for the determination of free sulfur in vulcanized rubber, namely, two copper screw methods and one sodium sulfite method. This standard applies to all kinds of vulcanized rubber. The two copper screw methods are also applicable to unvulcanized rubber within the limits described in Chapter 4.
