Scope
This standard specifies the frame structure of Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH) signals at the Network Node Interface (NNI). This standard applies to SDH public telecommunication networks and private networks, including optical cable digital line systems, digital wireless systems, and digital cross-connection equipment with SDH optical (or electrical) interfaces.
