《GB/T 15421-2008国际贸易方式代码》由TC83（全国电子业务标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
本标准于１９９４年１２月首次发布。本标准规定了我国从事国际贸易和国际经济合作适用的国际贸易方式代码。
本标准适用于从事国际贸易的机构进行电子数据交换和信息处理 本标准代替ＧＢ／Ｔ１５４２１―１９９４《国际贸易方式代码》。
本标准与ＧＢ／Ｔ１５４２１―１９９４《国际贸易方式代码》相比，变化如下：
―――根据我国国际贸易的实际需要，海关代码的广泛应用。调整了一些国际贸易方式的代码，以符合我国的对外贸易统计的需要；
―――增加了一些新的国际贸易方式分类代码，例如“国际服务贸易”、“国际投资”，以适应国际贸易的主要发展方向；
―――按企业的业务需求，修订了国际贸易方式代码的说明，以利企业推行使用。

Scope

This standard specifies the international trade mode codes applicable to my country's international trade and international economic cooperation. This standard applies to institutions engaged in international trade for electronic data exchange and information processing.
