Scope

This part gives examples of short-circuit current calculations for 50 Hz or 60 Hz three-phase AC systems in accordance with GB/T 15544.1. This part includes modeling of electrical equipment in positive-sequence, negative-sequence and zero-sequence systems (Chapter 2), as well as examples for low-voltage systems (Chapter 3), medium-voltage systems with asynchronous motors (Chapter 4) and power plant systems (whose auxiliary systems are connected to a large number of medium-voltage and low-voltage asynchronous motors) (Chapter 5). The three examples given in Chapters 3, 4 and 5 are similar to those given in IEC 60909 (1988), but have been modified according to GB/T 15544.1-2013. Chapter 6 provides the wiring diagram and calculation data of the test system, as well as the short-circuit current calculation results obtained in accordance with GB/T 15544.1. The example includes four different voltage levels: 380 kV, 110 kV, 30 kV and 10 kV, and contains power plant equipment, generators, asynchronous motors, etc. The calculation results include I'N, i'P, I_D, I_h, I'M' and i'P_1.
