Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements of non-broadcast video tape recorders. This standard applies to non-broadcast video tape recorders (hereinafter referred to as video recorders), and is the rule to be followed in product design, manufacture and inspection, and is also the basis for formulating product standards.
