Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, technical requirements, test methods and marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements of hermetic motor-compressors for room air conditioners. This standard applies to fully enclosed motor-compressors (hereinafter referred to as compressors, including rotary compressors, scroll compressors and Piston compressor) The refrigerant is other types of similar compressors, which can be used as a reference.
