Scope

This standard specifies the symbols and terminology, test specimens and their preparation, test equipment, test procedures, thermal fatigue level map and data processing, and test report content in the thermal fatigue test method of hot work die steel. This standard applies to the determination of thermal fatigue resistance of hot work die steel. Material development, mechanical design, process and quality control, product performance and failure analysis can refer to this standard.
