Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, transportation and storage of industrial solid sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide packaging steel drums (hereinafter referred to as solid alkali drums) with a nominal volume of 110L. This standard applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of steel drums containing industrial solid sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide.
