《GB/T 15956-2008重复性使用电石包装钢桶》由TC251（全国危险化学品管理标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
本标准代替GB/T 15956-1995《内销电石包装钢桶》。
本标准规定了重复性使用电石包装钢桶的要求、试验方法、检验规则和标志、运输、贮存。
本标准适用于重复性使用电石包装钢桶的制造、流通等领域。
本标准与GB/T 15956-1995相比主要变化如下：
―――标准名称改为“重复性使用电石包装钢桶”；
―――表1中的外高（100ｋｇ 规格的）改为370ｍｍ；环筋间距改为210ｍｍ（1995 年版4.2；本版
3.1）；
―――删除1995年版4.5；
―――气密试验气压值改为20ｋＰａ（1995年版4.5；本版4.4.1.4）；
―――删除了跌落后充气试验部分，通过试验的准则改为：样品跌落后，内容物无撒漏（1995年版4.6；本版4.4.2.5）；
―――最小堆码试验高度改为3ｍ（1995年版4.7；本版4.4.3.4）。

Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, transportation and storage of reusable calcium carbide packaging steel drums. This standard applies to the fields of manufacture and circulation of reusable calcium carbide packaging steel drums (hereinafter referred to as steel drums).
