Scope

This standard specifies the separation and determination of butanol in workshop air by polyethylene glycol 6000 column gas chromatography. This standard is applicable to the determination of butanol concentration in the air of butanol production sites and most usage sites. But it is not suitable for the use site where p-, m-xylene, ethylbenzene, isoamyl acetate and acetic acid coexist.
