Scope

This standard specifies the basic principles and methods for dose estimation of chronic radiation sickness from external exposure. This standard is applicable to the estimation of the exposure dose of medical diagnostic X-ray workers and the physical dose estimation of chronic radiation sickness patients and personnel to be diagnosed (hereinafter collectively referred to as personnel), as well as the dose estimation of radiation etiology for radiation tumors.
