《GB/T 1636-2008塑料 能从规定漏斗流出的材料表观密度的测定》由TC15（全国塑料标准化技术委员会）归口，TC15SC4（全国塑料标准化技术委员会通用方法和产品分会）执行，主管部门为中国石油和化学工业联合会。
本标准修改采用ISO 60：1977（2005年9月20日确认）《塑料――能从规定漏斗流出的材料表观密度的测定》（英文版）。
本标准根据ISO 60：1977重新起草。
本标准代替GB/T 1636-1979《模塑料表观密度试验方法》。
本标准规定了能从规定漏斗流出的松散材料（粉料或粒料）表观密度的测定方法。
本标准应用于比较粗的材料时，由于直尺刮平量筒上部多余的试样时会引入误差，所以测试结果可能会产生误差。
本标准同GB/T 1636-1979的主要差异为：
――本标准采用ISO 60：1977标准名称；
――删除了1979年版国家标准中的乙法，适用范围做了调整；
――增加了“规范性引用文件”一章；
――每批料进行三次测定修改为进行两次测定；
――增加了“精密度”。

Scope

This standard specifies the method for measuring the apparent density of loose materials (powder or pellets) that can flow out from a specified funnel. When this standard is applied to relatively coarse materials, errors may be introduced in the test results due to the error introduced by the ruler scraping off the excess sample on the top of the measuring cylinder. If the density of the molding compound under molding conditions is similar, the apparent density has a certain value for evaluating the relative looseness or relative volume of the molding compound.
