《GB/T 16479-1996碳酸稀土》由TC229（全国稀土标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为国家发展和改革委员会。
本标准规定了碳酸稀土的产品分类、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则和标志、包装、运输、贮存。本标准适用于以轻稀土为主的稀土矿为原料，经化学法制取的碳酸稀土。主要用作制取稀土抛光粉及分离单一稀土产品的原料。

Scope

This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage of rare earth carbonate. This standard is applicable to the rare earth carbonates produced by chemical methods, mainly using light rare earth ores as raw materials. It is mainly used as raw material for preparing rare earth polishing powder and separating single rare earth products.
