Scope

This standard specifies the dosimeter material selection, dosimeter preparation, equipment, calibration methods, and EPR spectrum measurement involved in the use of alanine-EPR dosimetry systems in radiation processing to measure absorbed doses in materials irradiated by photons and electrons. Measurement procedure and expression of uncertainty. This standard applies to the alanine-EPR dose measurement system for measuring absorbed dose under the following conditions: Absorbed dose range: 1~105Gy Absorbed dose rate range: ≤102Gy·s< Superscript-1> (continuous radiation field) ≤108Gy·s-1 (pulse radiation field) Radiation energy range: ≤30MeV Radiation temperature range: -60~90℃
